It’s not every day I get to share an item that has a place in both The Uncut Sheet and Unopened Archives, but that’s exactly the case with this 1963 Topps Monster Flip Movies Five-Cent Display Box Uncut Sheet.
Mastro offered it in their October 2008 online-only Classic Collector Auction. While I have sales prices for about half of that auction’s over 2,100 items, that doesn’t include this sheet. If you happen to have complete sales data from any old Mastro auctions, please reach out.
That said, it’s probably a pricey item. In the Spring of 2013, REA sold a 5-cent Display Box, Two Sets, Wrappers, and singles from the set for $4,740. Universal Pictures provided the photos to Topps for this series.
And while I wouldn’t expect the uncut sheet to command that price in today’s market, it could still push over $1k, since in October 2025 Heritage sold an empty box for $1,562.50 (with a near-complete set of books).
