199 final process 1952 Topps baseball cards—dark images, double prints, rough condition—but an incredible uncut panel and strip find from Mastro’s Dec ’01 auction. Scarce survivors with stars like Feller, Mize, and Jensen.

1952 Topps Uncut Panels & Strips (199)
A total of 199 final process cards (with printed reverses), with condition averaging FR to VG, although some individual cards are nicer in the panels or strips that they appear in. A few of the larger panels have areas of somewhat severe dark staining, tears, creases, etc. All panels & strips appear to have been around moisture over the years, and there is some softening of the actual cardboard stock. About half of the cards have a very dark image and a slight “fuzzy” look, the rest have a pronounced “double” image. There is a large partial sheet of 56 “double image” cards, as well as three other”double image” panels of 6 to 15 cards each. There are two large panels of 36 “dark image” cards, as well as seven strips of 2 to 9 “dark image” cards each. Players (some multiples) include: Bob Feller, Gene Woodling, Billy Pierce, Jim Konstanty, Jackie Jensen, Johnny Mize, Fred Hutchinson, etc. Although the panels & strips are very rough, they stillretain decent visual appeal and are quite scarce and desirable in any condition.
Don’t forget to check out more uncut sheets in the archive. Happy collecting!
