A 1974 Topps Progressive Proof Process Collection of 8 Uncut Sheets

Usually, when progressive proofs surface in the hobby, they’re single cards. A typical example is this 1974 Topps #607 Rookie Shortstop blank-back proof, showing one step along the road to a finished card.

Each sheet represented a different stage of the color build, all featuring the same 15-card panel. The run included stars like Harmon Killebrew, Rusty Staub, and J.R. Richard, captured across successive layers of ink as the image moved toward completion.

Here’s where those 15 cards ultimately landed on the finalized production sheet.
