Kellogg’s 3-D Cards

The 1968 Topps 3-D cards have become one of the hottest vintage topics in the hobby right now, but they were only the beginning of a much longer 3-D card story. In the July 1995 issue of Sports Cards Magazine, T.S. O’Connell took a deep dive into one of the most recognizable chapters of that story: Kellogg’s 3-D baseball cards. Covering the company’s 1970 debut through its later issues, O’Connell explored the appeal, variations, challenges, and collecting history of a set that helped define 1970s food-issue cards. The article also includes a vintage Kellogg’s price guide that offers a fascinating look at how these cards were valued 30 years ago.
