This Month on PostWarCards – May 2022

First, I wanted to mention that I will be launching The Post War Cards Newsletter within the month. It will feature unique, shorter-form content compared to the blog. So if you like the sorts of things I write about here and want to discuss sports card news and the industry, join me and subscribe!

I’ve also been thinking a lot about how to publish some longer-form content that would be too cumbersome as a single blog post. Since I’m not a big fan of “Article Title Part 1” through “Article Title Part 7” sorts of posts, I may start working towards developing a few eBooks. I’ve also considered printing a quarterly magazine under the Post War Cards title. So if either of those sounds appealing to you, let me know in the comments.

From a personal collection perspective, and thanks to my Twitter audience, I’ve started a 1963 Fleer Baseball set build. I was looking for a smaller set that wouldn’t break the bank, and 1963 Fleer was the most suggested.

Here on PostWarCards.Com, I added quite a few entries to the Unopened Archive. Many were “easy” additions because so few vintage unopened hockey products exist today. In another sense, it’s been “hard” finding images of those items because, again, so few exist, and they rarely come to market. There were 27 new articles and archive additions to the site this month, and they are all listed below.

And finally, thanks for reading PostWarCards; if there is ever a topic you’d like me to write about or a set you’d like me to prioritize for either archive, please reach out to me.

Happy collecting!
