In the Summer 1990 issue of Topps Magazine, writer Jeff Kass explored the rebirth of Bowman baseball cards after a 34-year hiatus. His feature, “The Tradition Continues,” traces Bowman’s legacy from its 1948 debut through its 1950s rivalry with Topps and into the revived 1989 and 1990 sets that reconnected modern collectors with hobby history. Scans of all four pages of this piece are below; a time capsule of Bowman nostalgia and late-’80s/early-’90s baseball card enthusiasm.
