Today I’m launching a new feature for the Hobby Resources page: fully scanned programs from past National Sports Collectors Conventions. I’m kicking it off with the program from the 3rd NSCC, held at the St. Louis Marriott from August 26–29, 1982. Flipping through this copy, two things jumped out at me: the surprisingly robust film schedule (something the modern National should absolutely bring back, if only to offer collectors a place to rest!) and the bright pink back page, clearly tri-folded, which I suspect was a promotional preview mailed ahead of the show. It’s a fun glimpse at how the National was experienced in its early years.
