Overview

Entenmann’s (a prominent bakery) again sponsored a Bulls set for the 1988-89 season, just as they did for the 1987-88 season, as a home-game promotion. This set has 12 cards with the same form factor as the 87s. On most checklists, you’ll find both the Entenmann’s Bulls sets ordered by the player’s uniform number.

Each card has a large action photo on the front with a white background. The player’s jersey number, name, height, position, and Entenmann’s logo are printed beneath the photo. Card backs are blank.

1988 Entenmann’s sets are usually priced at about 2/3 the costs of the previous year’s cards. In March 2022, a PSA 10 Jordan sold for $1350; the same card was pushing $3k in May 2021. Heritage Auctions sold a PSA 9 Jordan for $276 in June 2022, and in January 2023, a PSA 8 1988 Bulls Entenmann’s Michael Jordan card sold for $118 on eBay.

In September 2022, Goldin Auctions sold a complete signed, Beckett encapsulated, set for $3k.
