Overview

Topps made the 30-card 1974 Wonder Bread Football set appear similar to their 1971 Topps base football set on the front. Offensive players, punters, and kickers have red borders for the Wonder Bread set, and defensive players have yellow borders.

The backs are black-and-white with standard football card statistics and biographical information along with a photo and explanation of a football technique.

Topps printed a parallel set for Town Talk Bread (also owned by Wonder) distributed in Western Pennsylvania. The only difference is that the Wonder Bread versions backs have “***Wonder Bread All-Star Series***” printed on the top of the backs, while the Town Talks do not.
