Size: 2.5″ by 3.5″

Number in Set: 20

Overview

The 20 1969 Tresler Comet Bengals cards were given away for free at Tresler Comet gas stations in the Cincinnati area. The orange and brown sepia look is particularly attractive if you’re a Bengals fan and show the creativity that was possible in a regional release.

The black and white background has typical biographical and statistical information. But the highlights are the Bengal tiger running with a football drawing and the Tresler Comet logo. The cards also offer two calls to action to listen to games on WLW radio and return to Tresler Comet stations for a complete set of free cards.

The unnumbered cards were printed on thin card stock.
