1969 Jack in the Box California Angels Overview
I’ve read that this regional release was distributed a few cards per week at Jack in the Box fast food restaurants.
The cards feature a black-and-white player photo centered on a thin white stock. The Jack in the Box and Angele’s logos are above the player’s picture, and the player’s name, position, career batting average, or ERA are below the image.
The cards are unnumbered and blank-backed.
1969 Jack in the Box California Angels Examples & Sales
PSA has graded 118 cards across the set, with Hoyt Wilhelm having the most with 14; most graded cars come back as 7s and 8s.
It’s hard to believe, but PWCC sold a complete PSA-graded set for just $49 in Feb 2016.

Raw sets go for around the same amount as that graded set these days; one sold on eBay in January 2025 for $59, and another sold there for $38.50 in January 2024.
In August 2019, a PSA 9 Wilhelm sold for $42, and a PSA 9 Lou Johnson sold for $75 in July 2022.
This set is shockingly affordable.
