Title: Houston Astros Team Issue
Size: 2-5/8″ x 3-1/8″

1967 Houston Astros Team Issue Overview
I’ve read conflicting reports about this set; some publications claim the exact nature of the promotion of this set was unknown, while others claim the set was sold at Astrodome souvenir stands for $1. Either way, it’s known as a team issue, and we know they were issued on a ~9” x 10-1/2” sheet with perforations to remove the individual cards. You can pick up a complete sheet for around $100.

The front of each card features a posed color photo with white borders and a black facsimile autograph. The backs are horizontally oriented, featuring a career bio and basic player data on a yellow background on top and complete major and minor league stats at the bottom. The cards aren’t numbered.
PSA has graded 83 cards across the set, including 16 of Joe Morgan and 13 of Eddie Mathews. The grading distribution is pretty even between PSA 4 and 9, with no 10s in the Pop Report.
