Year: 1964
Title: Kahn’s Wieners
Size: 3″ x 4 5/8″
Number in Set: 14
Overview
In 1964, Kahn’s went with full-color photos on the front of their basketball cards. And unlike all the previous Kahn’s basketball sets (1957, 1958, 1959, 1960, 1961, 1962, and 1963), there’s no other writing on the front.
Kahn’s slogan appears on the bottom of the back of the card, unlike all the previous editions.
The back of the cards also have basic vitals and biographical information, but Happy Hairston, Jack McMahon, and George “Jif” Wilson (sometimes referred to as Type I cards) used marron ink while the rest used black ink (Type II cards).
Jerry Lucas and Oscar Robertson each have two cards.
