Title: San Francisco Seals Golden State Dairy Stamps
Size: 2″ by 2 1/2″
Number in Set: 23
Overview
The San Francisco Seals were a minor league team that played in the Pacific Coast League, and these stamps and the album they were designed to be glued in represented the final year the Seals played in the bay area.
The stamps are pretty basic, just a posed head and shoulders photo within a narrow white border with the player’s name in white within a black bar along the bottom. The backs are, of course, blank.
The album is a beautiful yellow and red piece. Each player’s page had a place for the stamp, a line for their autograph, and a short bio. You can see the Golden State Dairy sponsorship throughout the album.
