1949 Sealtest Philadelphia Phillies Stickers Overview
A scarce regional issue, the Sealtest Dairy released these Phillie’s Stickers around the Philadelphia area in 1949. The “cards” are really 12 large stickers with peel-off backs, and the fronts feature an action photograph and the player’s facsimile autograph. The backs are unnumbered and show an advertisement for Sealtest.
The same images, design, and checklist were used for Lummis Peanut Butter cards in 1949 (also in the Philadelphia area).

PSA has only graded 78 cards from this set, with most (30) ending up as 2s. It’s not often you see this, but SGC has actually graded more copies of these cards than PSA has (as of mid-September 2025). SGC has slabbed 82, with most being mid-grade 5s, 6s, and 7s.
Robert Edward Auctions sold the following complete PSA graded set (#1 on the Registry at the time) for $6k in their Spring 2018 auction.
